2. Scope of Application
​
These Terms & Conditions apply to all ticekt purchases and participation in events organized by Neabec Consulting Oy ("the Organiser"), including the NEABEC seminar.
​
By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser ("Participant") agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
​
These Terms apply to both business-to-business (B2B) and consumer (B2C) participants.
​
3. Event Description and Programme Changes
​
The Organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to:
​

The event programme
-
Speakers and moderators
-
Session topics
-
Venue arrangements
-
Schedule timing
​
Such changes do not entitle the Participant to a refund or compensation.
​
4. Ticket Purchase and Payment
​
​Participation is confirmed only after full payment has been received.
​
All prices are stated in euros (EUR) and are subject to applicable Finnish VAT (CURRENTLY 25.5%), unless otherwise specified.

The Organiser reserves the right to refuse or cancel registrations at its discretion.

Tickets are personal and may not be transferred without prior written approval from the Organizer. Any approved transfer must be requested in writing before the event.
​
5. No Right of Withdrawal
​
In accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to event tickets for leisure activities with a specific date.
​
Accordingly, ticket purchases are binding. ​
​
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
​
6.1 Participant Cancellation
Tickets are non-refundable if the Participant cancels.
​
Failure to attend does not entitle the Participant to a refund.
​
6.2 Organizer Cancellation
​
If the event is cancelled by the Organiser, Participants are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price paid.
​​
Refunds will be processed within 14 days to the original method of payment.
​
The Organizer is not liable for any additional costs incurred by Participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, visa, or insurance expenses.

6.3 Event Postponement
​
If the event is rescheduled, Participants will be offered:

The option to attend on a new date, or
-
The option to request a fund within a specified timeframe.

7. Force Majeure
​
The Organiser shall not be held liable for cancellation, postponement, or modification of the event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Government restrictions
-
Travel bans
-
Public health emergencies
-
Natural disasters
-
Strikes
-
Civil disturbances
-
Venue unavailability
8. Liability Limitation
​
The Organiser's liability is limited to the amount of the ticket fee paid.
​
The Organiser shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of business, loss of profit, or other consequential damages.
​
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct under applicable Finnish law.
​
9. Participant Conduct
​
Participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
​
The organizer reserves the right to remove any particiåpant whose conduct is disruptive, inappropriate, or in violation of event policies.
10. Photography and Recording
​
The event may be photographed, filmed, or recorded.
​
By attending, Participants grant the Organiser the right to use photographs and recordings in which they may appear for promotional, marketing, and communications purposes without compensation.
​
If a participant does not wish to appear in such materials, they must inform the Organiser in writing prior to the event.
​

​​​​​12​. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution ​
​
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Finnish law.
​
Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Finland.
​
Consumers may also refer disputes to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) in accordance with applicable legislation. ​​​​​​​​​​​
